Church Teachers' College :: Campus Safety

Church Teachers' College places a high priority on campus safety and more importantly on the safety and security of its occupants. We are privilege to be located in a relatively safe and progressive community and we are committed to taking every step necessary to preserve this. The campus is patrolled and monitored by Atlas Protection Ltd.

On entering the campus we ask that you cooperate fully with the instructions of the security officers on duty, observe the speed limits and other campus signs. Students and staff are required to wear an identification card (ID) at all times, you are required to show it to the security guard whenever it is requested.

Students are advised to observe the following guidelines:

  • Your ID card should be displayed at all times
  • Non-residents should not have access to access keys
  • Visitors are not allowed on students dorm
  • While the College is not obliged to accept responsibility for any emergency occurring outside of campus while on personal business, students are advice not to leave the campus alone especially at nights
  • You are obligated to report any suspicious activity to the security officers on duty at 2145
  • All students are required to report to their respective dorms by 10:30pm Monday to Thursday and by 12:30am on weekends
  • NO SMOKING is allowed on the campus.
  • Residents are asked to exercise discretion with regards to noise at ALL TIMES, but particularly during class and at nights. Loud music, shouting, banging of doors etc. will not be tolerated.
  • Lock all doors, even if you are leaving only for a short period of time.
  • Make certain to lock your door before you go to sleep.
  • Do not tamper with electricity, by doing so you run the risk endanger your life and the lives of other members of the College community.
  • Never force open any locked office, hall of residence door or motor vehicle.
  • Avoid leaving notes on your door saying that you are out.
