The College operates an Evening Institute where persons - usually young working
adults, can complete their secondary education by pursuing subjects at the General
Certificate in Education or Caribbean Examination Council examinations.
The Evening Institute was developed to facilitate the expansion of learning opportunities
for those students who did not achieve the desired result in their CXC Examination
or who have failed to attain the matriculation requirement for entry into specific
academic programmes of the college.
Church Teachers' College is also a registered examination centre, therefore students
are not only prepared to sit the CXC exam but they can register and sit the exam
on the campus of the college.
Training is offered in the forllowing subject areas:
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Office Administration
- Information Technology (Technical Proficiency)
- Social Studies
- Literature
- Principles of Accounts
- Principles of Business
Entry Requirement:
- Student must have completed the first year of the CXC syllabus in the selected subject
area(i.e The Student must have completed 4th form ).
