The Early Childhood Programme is another broad based area of study and prepares
teachers to teach students between the ages of 3+ and 7. Therefore, it includes
infant education as well as education for Grades 1 and 2 of the primary level. Much
of the preparation of the students demands hands-on experiences in creating, designing
and making artifacts that can stimulate and enhance learning at this level.
General Objectives:
The programme aims at providing high quality experiences for both pre-service and in-service
teachers who are guided by the Joint Board of Teacher Education tenets and lead
