The programme has been running since 1999 and has won many accolades not just because of its academic worth but because it accommodates the work schedule of the teachers who engage in the program, enabling them to earn the bachelor’s degree whilst practicing their profession.

Teachers in the program can transfer their course credits from a teachers’ college diploma programme to Temple University’s College of Education.

The objective of the program is to:

The degree is offered both full-time and part-time in:

• Elementary/Early Childhood Education
• Educational Leadership (post graduate degree)

Entry Requirements:

• Joint Boad of Teacher Education (JBTE) Diploma or its equivalent with at least a B average (credit) OR
• JBTE Diploma or its equivalent (pass) with evidence of continuing professional development.
• Persons having additional Professional Certification may also apply.

Duration: - Based on the successful completion of five courses per year, teachers can complete the program in 2 1/2 years.
